A Shelton woman hit a marked police car on Wednesday, according to the Washington State Patrol.
Kristy M. Krise, 25, of Shelton, was driving a 1996 Honda Accord westbound on Kopol Loop Road around 4 p.m., according to a Washington State Patrol report. Krise reportedly collided with a fully marked Squaxin Island Tribal Police vehicle stopped at the intersection of Southeast Klah Che Min and Kopol Loop Road, according to the WSP. The police vehicle, a 2013 Dodge Charger, was driven by Greg W. Blaylock, 27, of Shelton.
Krise then reportedly made a turn and collided with a 2007 Chevrolet Impala driven by John W. Pierce II, 34, of Shelton.
None of the drivers were reportedly injured.
It’s unknown if drugs or alcohol were involved in the accident; the cause of the accident and any potential charges against Krise are under investigation, according to the WSP.
