A car accident on Sixth Avenue in Bremerton sent a police officer to the hospital.

A 26-year-old man from Salem, Oregon, was driving a 2006 Honda Civic northbound on Montgomery Avenue around 7 a.m. today, according to a press release from the Washington State Patrol.
