Bremerton police arrest taxi driver for allegedly “imprisoning” woman

The Bremerton Police Department arrested a 44-year-old taxi driver from Gig Harbor last Saturday after he allegedly held a woman in his cab for hours against her will.

Kenneth Marshall Haines was arrested on a charge of false imprisonment, jailed, and released on $25,000 bail. The city of Bremerton immediately revoked his taxi operator’s certificate, according to a press release from the Bremerton Police Department.
