Kitsap Pride Network celebrates its 20th year this Saturday, celebrating LGBTQ rights and pride in Bremerton.
The event is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 16 at Evergreen Rotary Park, 1400 Park Ave., Bremerton.
The theme for the event is “Solidarity Through Pride.” The event is free and family-friendly, featuring music, drag, vendors, non-profits, food and more.
Headlining the event is Vicci Martinez, a recording artist “known for passionate performances, powerhouse vocals, and forging her own path,” according to a post on Kitsap Pride’s Facebook page.
Martinez released her music independently and toured the country for years before she was a finalist on the first season of NBC singing competition “The Voice” in 2011. The singer, a Tacoma native and graduate of Stadium High School, finished third in the competition. She has since released 10 albums, including a self-released 2015 album, “I Am Vicci.”
Martinez has toured the U.S. and Europe for the past five years, performing with such artists as Sting, Annie Lennox, B.B. King, The Doobie Brothers, Jonny Lang, Michael Franti, Train, Colbie Caillat and Ed Sherran.
Other acts performing include Caravan of GLAM, Diana I. Macanlalay, and Indika Haze and a cast of queens.
