An Olympia man was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after he crashed his car near Shelton on Saturday.
Kody B. Lehew, 31, was driving a 1997 Ford pickup truck northbound on state route 101 around 12:53 a.m. Saturday about eight miles south of Shelton, according to the Washington State Patrol. Lehew reportedly lost control of the truck while attempting to negotiate a corner. The truck rolled multiple times, hitting the guardrail, then rolled and came to a rest 200 feet off the roadway in the brush.
Drugs or alcohol were involved, according to the WSP’s report. The cause of the accident and any possible charges are under investigation, according to the report.
