State health officials suspended a Kitsap County home care aid’s license for allegedly having sexual contact with a disabled client.

Catherine Grace Erntson was criminally charged in February in Kitsap County Superior Court with indecent liberties, a Class C felony and sex offense, according to a press release the Department of Health sent out today.

Erntson allegedly had sexual contact with a developmentally disabled adult more than once between May 1, 2013 and February 28, 2014.

According to the statement of charges against Erntson, she was a home care aide for a developmentally disabled Port Orchard man.

The man claimed Erntson touched him inappropriately while bathing him multiple times, according to court documents.

Erntson cannot practice in Washington until the charges are resolved. She has 20 days to respond to the charges and ask for a hearing, according to the release.
